Key-Khosrow and Zolgharneyn are two distinguished figures possessing many similarities in different aspects in Persian historical, mythological and literary texts. Nevertheless these similarities have been rarely the topic of discussion. This article, through reviewing around 60 historical and commentary texts, concludes that mythological and mystical features of these two figures are very close to one another; therefore, some aspects of this affinity specially the ones related to onomatology and toponymy will be the specific concerns of this paper.
