Lori dialects constitute an important branch of the Southwestern Iranian Dialects. They are derived from Middle Persian that in turn has its origins in Old Persian. This article intends to trace out the etymology of some Boirahmadi words. After explaining the derivational structure and sound change of the words, their etymology is studied, based on the parallel and cognate words in Iranian Languages, in order to reconstruct the old forms of the words. لری بویراحمدی از گویش‌های جنوب‌ غربی ایران است که در منطقۀ بویراحمد استان کهگیلویه و بویراحمد رواج دارد. این گویش در کنار دیگر گویش‌های لری (مانند بختیاری و لری لرستانی) و فارسی، بازماندۀ فارسی میانه است که خود بازماندۀ فارسی باستان است. در این مقاله چند واژه از این گویش ریشه‌شناسی شده‌است. درمورد هر واژه نخست برپایۀ شواهد موجود در خود گویش، ساخت اشتقاقی و دگرگونی‌های آوایی آن توضیح داده شده‌ و سپس برپایۀ برابر یا هم‌ریشۀ واژه در دیگر گویش‌ها و زبان‌های ایرانی، و نیز زبان‌های هندواروپایی، به ریشه‌شناسی واژه و بازسازی صورت ایرانی باستان آن پرداخته شده‌است. https://adab.guilan.ac.ir/article_429_22998c9aed2bd148921b487bb01cc402.pdf
